NHS eligibility, real clinic costs, and your actual success rates — all in one place, before you sign a contract or apply for credit.
Get in touchIVF is one of the biggest financial decisions a household will make. Pricing is opaque, NHS entitlements are poorly communicated, and success rates are presented in ways that make comparison almost impossible. Nestie Finance gives you the information you need at the moment it matters — before money changes hands.
You may qualify for funded treatment and not know it. Nestie Finance checks your eligibility across all 23 NHS Integrated Care Boards in plain language — before you commit to private costs.
See what 290+ registered UK clinics actually charge — including medication, add-ons, and financing options — so you can make a real market choice rather than accepting the first quote.
HFEA 2024 data, translated into a personalised probability estimate for your situation. Know your realistic odds before committing to a multi-cycle financial plan.
Consumer Duty & our approach
Nestie Finance was built around a specific question that the UK's existing regulatory framework doesn't yet formally answer: when a consumer uses regulated credit or long-term savings to fund a high-cost healthcare decision, who is responsible for making sure that decision is well-informed?
The FCA's Consumer Duty framework sets a high standard for retail financial services — but the information environment that shapes IVF decisions sits outside FCA's perimeter. Clinics are not required to present NHS eligibility clearly. Success rates can be presented selectively. Add-on treatments costing up to £9,500 per cycle are sold without the evidence base that financial products require.
Nestie Finance operates at that gap: providing the kind of clear, comparable, consumer-protective information that Consumer Duty requires in regulated markets, in a market where it currently does not formally apply.
Scope and limits
Just describe your situation — your age, location, and circumstances — and Nestie Finance works out what you're entitled to, what things should cost, and what your options actually look like. No forms, no referrals, no waiting.
It won't make decisions for you. It won't file anything on your behalf. Its job is to make sure you understand what you're getting into before you do.
Get in touchWhy FCA support is relevant
Fertility decisions involve both consumer credit (FCA-regulated) and clinical choices (CQC-regulated). The information environment that shapes those decisions sits between both perimeters — and is currently ungoverned. We are not asking FCA to regulate us. We are asking for the tools to validate that we are doing this responsibly before we scale.
We cannot safely validate edge-case eligibility interpretations or cost guidance accuracy using real patient data. A digital sandbox environment gives us the synthetic patient profiles we need to test at scale without real-user exposure.
We want to understand whether our eligibility interpretation and financing guidance outputs meet the FCA's "fair, clear, and not misleading" standard — and where the boundary sits between decision support and regulated advice. This requires engagement, not just legal review.
A normal development environment cannot replicate the data conditions needed to validate AI-generated affordability guidance responsibly. We need a controlled space to test outputs before they inform high-stakes consumer decisions.
Current build and testing intent
Current state
Live product at nestie.co/finance, processing real queries from UK users
Data sources
NHS ICB eligibility policy documents (all 23 boards), HFEA 2024 published outcome tables, UK clinic pricing from 290+ registered providers
Escalation architecture
Hardcoded referrals to GPs and licensed advisers when queries exceed scope — not configurable, not bypassable by the user
What we want to validate
Accuracy of NHS eligibility interpretation across ICB edge cases; whether cost-comparison outputs meet "fair, clear, and not misleading"; appropriateness of escalation triggers
Success criteria
Outputs reviewed by independent IFA and fertility counsellor; escalation rate mapped against query type; no autonomous decisions recorded across all sessions
Current gap
Real user signal exists, but no synthetic test population to validate edge cases at scale without real-patient exposure

Nestie Finance does not store your fertility history, health details, or financial information on our servers. Your conversation stays yours.
Privacy architectureSafeguards
Nestie Finance uses a six-tool agentic system — NHS policy logic, HFEA outcome data, clinic pricing, cost modelling, cross-border pathways, and a structured knowledge pipeline. What matters for consumer protection is not the architecture but the constraints: escalation to GPs and licensed advisers is hardcoded, not configurable. The system has no capability to initiate transactions or execute decisions on behalf of the user. Data minimisation is enforced at the session level — no health or financial information is retained on our servers.
When a query exceeds scope, the system does not attempt to answer it. It stops, explains why, and directs the user to the appropriate professional.

Best Femtech Solution of the Year
Nestie Finance provides financial guidance, not regulated financial advice. It does not initiate transactions or make decisions on your behalf. When a query requires professional input, it will tell you and direct you to the right person.
